Turn the prompts you reuse into skills your whole team runs in Claude. Build them on the Zime connector, share them, and put them on a schedule.
A skill is a set of instructions Claude follows for one job. It is a small folder: a SKILL.md file with a name, a one-paragraph description, and the step-by-step instructions, plus optional reference pages.
Claude reads only the description to decide when a skill applies. It loads the full instructions the moment you ask for that job - either by typing / and picking it, or by describing the task in plain language.
| Pasted prompt | Skill |
|---|---|
| Lives in your notes, retyped each time | Saved once, runs the same way every time |
| Only you have it | Live in Claude for your whole team on the next sync |
| No history | Every save is a version you can roll back |
| Plain text only | Can carry reference pages, examples and templates |
| Claude has to guess the tools to use | Names the exact Zime tools and the order to call them |
| What it is | In Zime | |
|---|---|---|
| Connector (MCP) | Gives Claude access to your data through named tools | The Zime connector at mcp.zime.ai |
| Skill | Tells Claude how to do one job, including which tools to call | Call Prep, Review Call, Follow-up, and the ones you write |
| Plugin | The package that delivers skills and the connector to Claude together | One Zime plugin per company - every Org and Open source skill plus the connector |
Short version: the connector is the plumbing, the skill is the playbook, the plugin is the box it ships in.
Anywhere you use Claude with the Zime plugin installed: Claude on the web, the desktop app, Cowork, Claude Code, and scheduled tasks. Type / to see the list, or describe the task and Claude picks the matching skill. Skills enabled for your Claude account also appear in the Claude add-ins for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Eleven open source skills, built and maintained by the Zime team. All are free to read, install, and copy.

Yes, for anything that touches calls, deals, or accounts. The connector signs each person in with their own Zime login, and every skill returns only what that person can already see in the Zime dashboard. Installing the plugin on its own grants no data access.
