How Zime Maps Your Calls to the Right Salesforce Opportunity
Zime automatically links your meetings to the correct Salesforce deal so your pipeline stays clean, coaching stays accurate, and no customer conversation slips through the cracks.
- Update CRM with post call notes in the right opportunity
- Accurate prep notes to reps before their sales calls
- Pipeline review on Zime
Zime pulls attendees from the calendar event, separates internal vs. external participants, and uses CRM signals to find the best match.
Here's the simplified logic:
Identify the prospects
Zime detects all external email IDs in from calendar. These represent customer contacts in your CRM. You can customize how contacts are linked to opportunitiy.
Identify the account
External email domains (e.g., @acme.com) are matched to the right Salesforce Account.
Identify the rep(s)
Internal attendees help Zime identify the deal owner or collaborator.
Match inside Salesforce (in priority order)
- Is there a valid account associated?
- Is there a valid opportunity in that account?
- In case of multiple opportunities in an account, it calculates weighted score based on Prospect (66%), Owner (22%), Open deal (11%), and sorted by latest update date.
Choose the best match
If multiple deals match, Zime selects the most recent active opportunity.
Zime assigns a confidence score to each call-deal mapping. Across customers, approximately 80% of calls map to a single opportunity with high confidence. The remaining calls are assigned medium or low confidence. This report of your last 100 calls is available with Zime's customer success - if you want to review the same.
(Accuracy can vary based on CRM hygiene and meeting behavior.)
Every call is assigned a confidence level:
This happens when:
- Account is mapped with only one opportunity in the account
- Account is mapped with multiple opportunities, but only one matches on all three signals: deal owner, prospect, and open status
Note: This can break when the opportunity is not yet created in CRM, but a valid older opportunity exists.
This happens when:
- Account is mapped, but no opportunity exists in the account
- Account is mapped with multiple opportunities, and Zime uses the logic described above to prioritize a deal
Even when confidence is medium or low, Zime ensures reliability through built-in features:
- Shows account mapping alongside the opportunity
- Allows reps to easily edit or remap deals (see the next bullet)
- Highlights calls with no opportunity and nudges reps to create one in the CRM
You can always fix it.
Reps can update the opportunity in seconds from the call page. The correction flow is simple, fast, and requires no admin support.
Yes.
We typically review 50โ100 mapped opportunities with your RevOps team or POC during onboarding.
This helps confirm accuracy, adapt to your Salesforce structure, and tune expectations around deal mapping.
To maintain accuracy, Zime does not rely on:
- Matching meeting titles to Opportunity names
- Matching call transcripts to Salesforce notes
These inputs tend to be inconsistent and don't reliably improve match confidence.
Because titles like "Sync," "Catch-up" or "Intro" rarely match Salesforce naming conventions.
Zime applies all available signals and picks the most recent active opportunity. If the signals still conflict, Zime marks the match as Medium or Low confidence so reps can confirm or adjust.
The UI clearly breaks down:
- External attendees (prospects)
- Detected account
- Internal attendees (reps)
- The opportunity selected
- Confidence level
- A simple Map/Remap option if something looks off
The goal: total transparency, zero guesswork.
